Eagle Valley Ballroom

Ballroom classes start September 5th and 6th from 3:35-4:35pm in the gym and all interested 4th-6th grade students are invited to attend both classes. The parent meeting for ballroom is September 10th at 3:45pm in the gym.

SCC Meeting Schedule

Our School Community Council (SCC) works to make our school successful with important input and decisions regarding goals and allocation of funds from Trust Lands.  For more information on the council please visit http://www.schoollandtrust.org/councils/work-of-councils/. We elect three parent members in odd years, and two parent members in even years. SIP Goal #1:

All students K-6 will show growth in literacy. The percent of students in grades K-3 achieving a proficient composite score on the yearly DIBELS assessment will increase by 30% at the end of the 2017-2018 school year.

-By October 1, 2017 100% of our students in grades K-3 will be assessed using the DIBELS assessment and scores available in Amplify.

-By October 1, 2017 each grade level team K-3 will identify students in yellow and red intervention areas by each DIBELS subtest.

-By October 15, 2017 all students in red and yellow subtest areas will be aligned to interventions.

-Starting September 12th all teachers in K-3 will be provided time monthly to progress monitor DIBELS and literacy interventions. A word coach will work with words, alphabet and/or fluency for 60 minutes each month in each classroom.

SIP Goal #2:

By the end of the 2017-2018 school year, all students fourth through sixth grade will show growth in ELA/Writing, Math and Science as measured by SAGE. Each grade will improve level of proficiency (levels 2, 3,4) by 2%.

-By October 1st all grades K-6 will post math and ELA essential standards in the grade level hall area.

-By October 1st all grades K-6 essential standards in math and ELA will be posted on the school website and sent out to parents.

-By October 1st all students K-3 and students reading significantly below grade level in 4-6 will be using Imagine Learning.

-By September 25, 2017 all students 5-6, and some identified in 4th will complete the i-Ready diagnostic and have a schedule for using the program a minimum of 45 minutes a week.

-By November 15th, all grades 3-6 will administer one SAGE benchmark assessment.
